Day 1, Transfer to Nyungwe Forest
After Breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe forest national park. En route you will pass through magnificent views of the beautiful hilly countryside where the country derives its name of The Land of a Thousand hills. After lunch you will trek primates like the Blue monkeys, Angolan Colobus monkeys among others. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest house
Day 2, Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest
Set out before day light for a chimpanzee tracking experience in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Before the activity, activity, you will first get the briefing from the Park rangers who will in details explain to you the rules for Chimpanzee trekking. When it comes to day light, you will already be in the forest. Also look out for the colobus monkeys, Varvet monkeys and so many other primates. Return to your lodge for lunch and refreshments and then later in the afternoon, go for the canopy walk to search for different bird species. Day 3, Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kigali for a city tour. En route, visit the Butare Cultural Museum and the Old King’s Palace in Nyanza. Upon reaching Kigali have lunch and after visit the Genocide Memorial sites which will give you insights of what happened in 1994. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Chezlando/Step Town Motel/Kigali Serena Lodge
